Golf Exercises Like This Will Add Yards To Every Club
Michelle Wie In Denial
I’m not a big fan of Michelle Wie! I’ll say it straight up! She came out on tour signing the biggest female golf endorsement contract and hadn’t even won or placed in an LPGA event. Do you think her LPGA competitors took a liking to her or not? I think you know the answer to that one.
I think Michelle Wie is in denial!
She needs to prove herself on the “ladies tour” FIRST, then try if she wants to make a men’s cut. She has overkilled that one! She has tried so many times, when she finally makes one, people aren’t going to be impressed. They’ll be thinking, “about time”.
These may be strong words, but she needs to support HER tour first, and maybe gain some friends on that tour, then go do other things.
Become A Lean Golfer - Easy Fat Loss Program
Our society is getting bigger. That means golfers are too! It doesn’t have to be that way! Becoming a lean golfer is easy with the right approach. Lifestyles like BIG John Daly’s result in how he looks today. You hopefully desire more out of your life than that. We only have once chance on this earth, so why not make it the best we can.
Fat loss does not require deprivation. Nor does it require a huge sacrifice. It all boils down to common sense. Before you eat your next piece of food, take a good look at it. Is it going to give you fuel or poison? Will it rev up your engine or shut it down fast?
Weight loss for golfers can be very rewarding. You not only look and feel better, but you will most definitely play better. Doesn’t those rewards outweigh unhealthy lifestyle choices? It’s easy to put it off now, but what happens when you’re in your mid 60’s and you’re carrying an extra 50 pounds? At that point it’s very difficult to get it off. It’s not impossible, but it’s much harder than it would be if you started in your 40’s or even 50’s.
I’ve put together a little Golfers Guide To Weight Loss ebook you should strongly take a look at. I’ve made it so easy to lose weight and keep it off!
Pop the Balloon Golf Drill ~ More Driving Distance

Involving your legs in your downswing is a key component in utilizing the power your swing creates.
To do this, your left knee needs to kiss the right one as the club comes into impact. Among my students I see a lot of stationary legs; this contributes to their lack of distance. Your right knee should be driving towards to the target as you approach impact; this move helps promote a proper weight transfer.
As shown in the picture, imagine yourself holding a balloon between your knees. As you swing back, try to keep the balloon stationary. This will ensure you’re coiling properly and creating tension between your upper and lower body.
When you’re approaching impact, feel as though your right knee is pooping the balloon on the left. This move will help you clear your hips properly while transferring your weight, leading to greater clubhead speed and distance. Give it a try! This drill was provided by Duncan McGillivray over at the GolfDrillGuru.com.
Is It Tiger, Phil Or Maybe Steve Stricker To Win The FedEx Cup
Phil wins last week and Tiger this week. Who is going to win the Fedex Cup? The tournament is going to be at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Steve Stricker could sneak in there if Tiger and Phil are not watching.
It’s too bad Phil wasn’t playing last week, but now it adds a lot of drama to this weeks tournament. My money is on Tiger!
Weekend Golf Stretch For Better Posture
Here’s a golf stretch I want you to do this weekend when you’re on the course that will keep your hamstrings and lower back nice and lose for better golf posture and less strain on your back. You should even feel better when you’re in your putting stance on the green!
This is one simple golf stretch out of my Total Golf Stretching ebook.
Instructions:
Slightly flexed knees.
Grab club and bend at hips.
Let arms hang relaxed in front of legs.
Stretch hamstrings and lower back by lowering club down legs.
Come back up and repeat with moderate speed.
Repeat 3-5 times.
Benefit to Golf Swing:
Increase circulation in lumbar (lower back) area to withstand the high torque from initial swings.
Allow for a more relaxed posture position through out swing.
Reduce chance of injury to lower back early in the round.
Do this several times during your round and let me know how it goes. You should feel less strain on your back, improved golf posture throughout the round, and more consistency in your putting.
