Every golfer (especially the older ones) has physical limitations that are not allowing them to perform proper swing mechanics. This will not be solved by hitting more balls, taking more lessons, or buying new equipment.

This will ONLY be solved by isolating these physical limitations with both simple strength and stretching exercises you can do right in your home. That is why I firmly believe a golf fitness system for your home will be your fast ticket to a better swing and improved golf game.

Next time you hear the term golf workouts…don’t think gym, sweating, 2 hours, and hard! Think home, no sweat, 15 minutes and easy! How’s that sound? I’m dead serious! You will be amazed at the improvement you’ll see by just doing 15 minutes of simple, easy and “in your home” workout exercises!
With the winter here for most of the country, this is a perfect time to work on your body while you can’t golf. This is what we call “off-season” training in sports. And yes…golf is a sport, so prepare your body to perform like any other athlete would.
I don’t care if you’re a weekend warrior or a club champion. Doing simple workouts for golf can take your game quickly to another level. You may even surprise yourself…and be your clubs next champion!

Improve Your Power With Simple Golf Exercises
Every golfer wants more power in their golf swing! Don’t you? If so, what have you done to get it? I’ve heard every attempt under the sun! New equipment; more lessons; distance golf balls; and of course the gimmicky training aids.
Well…I hate to burst your bubble…but it’s none of the above! And before you bombard me with your opinions on the newer technology, let me just state a fact. The USGA has come up with a staggering number for amateur golfers.
The average US handicap has NOT changed one point, or a fraction of a point for more than 17 years! Whoah! Unbelievable!

Do Your Golf Stretches Right In Your Office
Have I gone too far? Golf stretches even at work? No…I’m dead serious! Look at me in my office. Piece of cake! I stretch all day long! It feels great, and helps my game at the same time!
Don’t even think you can’t do it! It’s as simple as staying right in your chair like I’m doing in the picture. This is just one golf stretch of about 12 that I put together in my golf training manual for busy executives! Or you desk jockeys like me!
What a great way to break up the stress and boredom of your day! Take a quick 15 seconds…do a simple stretch and back to work. Do this throughout the day and you’ve just completed an entire stretching routine right at work!

Elbow Injury To A Golfer Is A Killer
Man…have you ever had an injury to your elbow as a golfer? There is nothing more debilitating than this nagging little injury that hurts every time you swing a club and hit the ball!
Just the other day I started to feel my elbow on the course and made sure to ice it right after I was done. The pain fortunately went away until… the next time I played (Ugh).
Again I iced it and it felt better, but the next time I went out to play I made sure to have a light grip on the club and it made a huge difference!
Goes to show you how tight we grip the club and don’t even know it.
As a golfer, elbow injury or strain should first be treated as I did above. If that doesn’t work, take a week off from playing or hitting balls. If that doesn’t work, you may need to see an orthopedic or a therapist for more advanced therapy or treatment.

Is There A Perfect Drill For Your Golf Swing?
Every golfer is looking for the perfect golf swing. When I say perfect, I mean a swing that holds up on the course for them (you). As we have come to find out, this is nearly impossible, as no matter what…even if we have a good round going…our swing fault creeps in there and our handicap shows real quick!
But I do believe there is such a thing as the perfect golf swing drill for you! Do you want to know what it is? Come on…bet a little bit. Okay…the perfect drill for your golf swing is one that completely and totally isolates YOUR swing fault.
Are you following me? You have got to zone in on the swing fault that is wreaking havoc on your golf score. If you can find a drill that lasers in on your swing fault, then yes…I would call that a perfect drill for your golf swing.

Golf Fitness Training Like Tiger
Fitness training for golf is a must if you want to get to the root cause of your mishits, scoring issues and lack of power in your golf swing. But what I want to dispel right here and now is the fact that it does not take a fanatical effort to see improvement in your swing and game!
I don’t want you to think of Tiger Woods as your fitness role model. He is a fraction of the golfing population who takes his fitness and training very, very serious…and so he should. You do not need to be near that committed!
Please take this to heart. I am a fitness professional, but am realistic in what people can do (and choose to do) with their time. I have a big joke with my wife about being in the fitness business. I say to her…”if I lined up 100 people and asked them what would they rather do…a fitness training workout or get a massage?”…case closed!!!
Getting golfers to grasp fitness is a tough one…and yet the people who do, wish they would have done it years ago.
With the top players like Tiger, Vijay, Adam Scott and most of the other tour players doing fitness training for golf, it’s a “no-brainer” to at least take a look at it!

Winter Golf - I’m Lucky
Man…I just got off the course yesterday having played with a nice father/son twosome. If you didn’t know, I live in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona and enjoy awesome golf year round!
Well..we got to talking and they were from Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Being a Canadian myself (by blood), but have lived in the US since I was 4…I asked a lot of questions. The father was retired, and had a place down here that he stays at for the winter season, and his son was just visiting for the week.
I asked how cold it got up there and what they said made my jaw drop to the beautiful green fairway grass I was standing on. Are your ready? They said with the windchil it can get to 40 below…that’s farenheit! Oh my god! I was cold that day and it was 72 (the sun was behind some clouds the entire round).
Needless to say…I am one lucky camper to be living and playing golf year round hear in the land of the sun!
Golf Tips ~ Do They Help
Golfers yearn for golf tips! It’s like dieting in the weight loss industry. People keep looking for the magic bullet, so they go on every diet that comes out. Is that the way to success? I don’t think so. The way to success is to analyze your specific situation, rather it be playing better golf or losing weight, and target the exact issue causing your lack of success.
I know that sounds like a “duh” statement, but only a small percent of people do this, and that is why most golfers are not successful improving their scores and performance.
Stay focused on your specific task until it is solved!
